Educated at Boston College Law School, where he served as editor of The Boston College International and Comparative Law Review, Michael Christian practiced law briefly in 1986 before going on to receive a Master of Arts degree in English at Boston University. He taught English at Boston College for fourteen years and today is a frequent lecturer at colleges and universities across the country. His books The Art of Kissing, The Book of Kisses, The Art of Hugging, The Art of Kissing Book of Questions & Answers, and Kiss Like a Star have been translated into nineteen foreign languages. He has appeared on more than 100 television and radio programs, including CBS This Morning, The View, and the Today Show. His research has been featured in print and electronic media internationally and has appeared in such magazines as Glamour, Mademoiselle, Seventeen, Elle, The Washington Post and The Chicago Tribune.
